Mia Sheridan es una de mis autoras favoritas. Sabe cómo hacer que me enamore muy profunda y fácilmente de sus personajes, sus historias personales y, en general, de cada mundo que crea en sus libros. Preston’s Honor es su último libro publicado, el cual trata del signo del zodiaco Géminis (es el mío). Y Mia, una vez más, nos ha traído una historia de amor muy conmovedora y preciosa, que atrapa al lector al momento de empezarla.
Annalia no lo ha tenido fácil en la vida. Y tras los años se ha convertido en una joven que necesita sentirse amada más que nada en la vida. Y llega un momento en que tiene que plantearse ciertas cosas y termina por tomar decisiones esenciales para ella. Sin embargo, estas decisiones no son moco de pavo, algo fácil, sencillo y pasajero, no; se trata de un cambio total de la forma de vida que conocía hasta ahora. Y eso repercutirá en personas de su entorno más cercano, una de las más importantes para Annalia: Preston. ¿Será Preston capaz de comprender la necesidad de Annalia?¿De perdonarla? Es difícil, porque Preston, desde la huida de Annalia, se encuentra solo, muy dañado y con nuevas responsabilidades.
Definitivamente, Mia Sheridan es una hechicera con la pluma. Sus historias recogen elementos básicos y lo elevan a lo extraordinario, sobrellevándolos y desarrollándolos a su manera más personal y mágica.Preston’s Honor es una historia de amor y superación compuesta por elementos muy realistas y profundos, que van tomando sentido poco a poco. Se trata de una historia terriblemente inteligente, hermosa y emocionante. Con Preston’s Honor, Mia Sheridan me ha mostrado una vez más de lo que es capaz, de la sensibilidad, intensidad y emoción puesta en cada palabra. Por supuesto, recomiendo muchísimo Preston’s Honor.
Mia Sheridan is one of my favorite authors. She knows how to make me fall in love so easily with the characters, their back stories and all around the worlds she create in her books. So, so easily. Preston’s Honor is the lastest book in the Signs of Love series, based in the sign of Gemini (my zodiac sign!). And Mia once again brought us a beautiful and heartbreaking love story, that immediately captivated me.
Annalia hasn’t had an easy life. Now, she needs to feel loved more than anything in her life. So she makes essential decisions and focus on what she really needs. However, these decisions and choices aren't easy or temporal, but clearly crucial and decisive for the life she has always known. Her choices will affect to the people she care about the most, and one of those is Preston. Would he be able to understand the need of Annalia? To forgive her? It’ll be hard for him, because he’s lonely, damaged and, first of all, assuming new responsibilities.
Definitely, Mia Sheridan is simply genius. Her writing is absolutely captivating, to a whole new and magical level. Preston’s Honor got me hooked from the beginning. It felt so real and deep, and I loved it. The story is built perfectly and it deepened slowly, step by step. It is a delightfully, unique, meaningful and beautiful story, packed with passion, emotion and angst, and full of feeling and intensity. And of course, I highly recommend it!
